Why make 300 a PSP exclusive?

It's a question that's always been our minds: why is 300 a PSP exclusive? Certainly, the bigger, badder consoles could do the franchise a bit more justice, no? Well, according to Yahoo!, it simply had to do with time:

"We wanted to do Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but everyone has in mind what they want to do with marketing and everything. By the time they get around to pulling the trigger and they want a day and date with the movie, we ended up with the PSP. I'm completely happy with the game we made. I think it's cool."

This is exactly what the psp needs more of though, exclusives. Just hope it does turn out to be a game thats worth playing and not another crappy movie liensed game. I was pretty disappointed at how ghost rider turned out. :(

It will look mighty impressive on the PSP with cut scenes and voices and such I am hoping. If it is like Justice League Heroes

It is just lazy! PSP is crap and it is on it's way out even the most Anticipated movie of the year won't save it. They could and probably will make it on platforms that people want, but it will be a little too late to make the game anything more than a novelty. The movie does not need any help from the gaming industry.

They should have started work early and made it for all consoles. While it might be a good game on psp, I think it had the potential to be a greater game.

i think 300 would have been bueatiful on ps3. from the previews 300 looks to be a shoe in for cinimatogaphy of the year. every frame looks like a dramatic old painting. it's a sham, but at least they didn't kid themselves and put out straight rushed crap on next gen consoles. here's to hoping against hope that the psp game wont be a ball of licenced poo we've all comed to expect from deals like this.

Faenwyn probably just wants the game on ds or wii with a whack-a-mole/persian mini game in it. don't take him seriously.

... on another note, is it just me or does the 300 plugin ad to the right of the page look a little uninspired?
