More and more Lair screenshots flying in!

Someone e-mailed me with this link and mentioned the water. All this time, we were focusing on dragons and failed to realize that the water in the game looks absolutely stunning, too! The latest batch of screenshots were pulled out of the Factor-5 oven on the 23rd, apparently, but we're getting around to it now. Lair is due out in May, and from the way things are shaping up, will probably make quite a splash. Did you see that one coming? Hopefully the dragons will be able to take a dive into the briney deep. That would add extra fun to the killing and such... although falling on top of a plethora of soldiers is equally rewarding.

Not sure you guys know what computer generated means. I like the PS3 and all but this game will not even get close to Gears of Wars graphics. Look at this screenshot:

yep the real screenshot looks like turd. god damned sony assholes and their cheap ass bottleneck setup.

i don't know why the real shot water looks so crap but i bet the reason is either lack of full RAM related, bandwidth or lack of quality dev tools. i realise the bad shots could be really early screens but as sure as shit stinks i know that the final game ain't going to look like that awesome looking fmv shot.

Im a original,engrossing game fanboy regardless of system, though i must say ive always hated microsoft (bunch of dirty money stealin bandits :) ) but sony is new to my hatred> no problems with my ps2, nintendo is good but they aint got nothin to make me want a wii especially seeing a tp plays just fine in my cube and vc not needed as i still got nes, snes, 64, and cube. ). Maybe i should give pc gaming a go, but they seem just like mainly strategy games which not really my thing. fave game at the moment>okami! so dont try to paint me as some asshole ms fanboy

my only glimmer of hope for my ps3 is that i remember first gen ps2 games versus the latest big ps2 releases and the huge distance they came. Unfortunately this was really only in graphical nature.
The sony backlash is a product of sony and the ridiculous hype and fake "real time" e3 vids. how that old saying go? what goes up must come down yea thats it. Now the poor pal region guys get screwed on another sony "promise" of backwards compat.
Meanwhile these jerks (sony pr guys(yes i know its their job)) continue their press conferences raving about how good they are! stop trying to brainwash us into thinking your system is good and make the F*CKING thing good and get good games then the console speak (and sell) for itself.

In my head im already waiting for ps4 but if ps3 ends up taking top spot sony will just ream us again next time so ps3 failure not such a bad thing. My prediction for ps4 release> sony rep quote "yes rumble is back!! unfortunately because our new graphics chip is so advanced displaying 8 dimensions at 8320 i and p simultaneously!!! we had to remove sound from all games due to conflict that is unresolvable! but dont worry our genious techs tell us no one cares about sound in games anyway!! Sorry for the rant guys but this makes me feel better and helps me deal with my (at present) WASTED MONEY!

one last question When will sony (or any console maker) stop arseraping its loyal consumers? Answer: Never cos they are smart and we are dumb proof> they make a shitload of money pumping out crap, we buy the crap, rate it and then post about it on the internet.

@10, that screen shot is old, i remember seeing it months ago. and besides, the playable demo at tgs had much better water effects and textures than that screen shot. All the screens with the exception of this one are in game.
