Blu-ray movie releases for the week of March 5th

Well, bad news this week fanboys... no new Blu-ray releases. Enjoy the ones you've already collected and don't fret, we've got several coming out later in the month... including a huge one next week.

As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery (even when there are no new releases!).

3 people walked into my house yesterday while I was playing a Blu-ray movie. Guess how many of them thought it wasn't a DVD? Zero.
"It's HD movie magic. Can you tell?"
"Really? It doesn't look any different."
Hmmm....we're going to get forced into this change-over...for no reason...I know it.

to say that there is no difference between the two formats is asinine. if you do a channel flip the difference is akin to going from a SD broadcast of something to an HD broadcast, but upon first glance most people will simply consider it to be a dvd but a difference is there nonetheless.

Most people when I'm like, "It's HD."
I get, "That's nice looking."
"I never seen HD before, besides the picture looking better why should I care?"
Let's face, it majority of the people, even when they see it, all they think about really is the movie itself. Not the quality. Why do you think that most movie theathers haven't really switch from normal projectors (besides the cost) all people care about right now is a big screen and a loud sound system.
It's sad, that's why this format war will go on forever, unless you pull all the DVD player off the market, people don't really care to upgrade.
