GDC 07: No Gravity looks for publisher; offers playable demo
Like Galaxy's End and The Black Corsair, No Gravity is a PSP game that's looking for a publisher. Unlike the other two efforts, however, the developers of No Gravity are asking PSP homebrew users to download and try their game. This 3D space shooter comes from a team called Realtech VR. The final version of the game has a planned 55 missions, "with diverse objectives ranging from destroying enemy ships or base, escorting allied ships, clearing the mine field, etc."To download the homebrew-only demo, and learn more about the game, visit their website.

Quote from the readme.txt:

This program is an 'homebrew' game, an is an unsigned application and is approved / supported by Sony.

They have a *serious* typo in there. Shouldn't it read "is NOT supported by Sony"?
And further than that, they're trying to find a publisher for a game that's already released under the GPL?! (which means, the sourcecode and even the game data is freely available).
If you ask me, this is never going to happen...

Andrew, this game is not seeking a publisher (at least not according to their website). They call themselves makers of demos and freeware, so I don't think they will change their group's philosophy.
Do you have anything, like an interview or something, saying they are seeking to publish this as a retail game?

The game is decent , it would be cool if it would come out at a low price on the PSstore :)

It's a nice game. Some nice graphics, cool music and overall, and entertaining experience. It needs some polishing, obviously, especially on the graphics side, and some more background interaction or movement would be nice too.
It really looks like the developers put some good effort on it, and its most admirable achievement is the sense that it gives, the feel that the game was made with the PSP in mind.
I agree with Alien. Sony could lend a hand to some developers and offer some games like this one on the PSstore.
