Ignoring all the Home and Little Big Planet (despite how cool it is), Sony needs to come out and say SOMETHING about rumble.
They have to realize how many people would see rumble being included in the SIXAXIS as a very good thing, and that there seem to be people who cite the lack of rumble as the main reason why they won't invest in the console. I can only imagine that coming out and saying "Guys, you're getting rumble." or even better "You're getting the new generation of haptic technology that seems so cool."
Thoughts?

With the Euro units already on its way to stores for launch, they are not going to announce anything right now. It would mess up the launch. Maybe, they can tell devs to start working on rumble right now and officially announce it 6 months from now.. it would take that long for devs to incorporate it anyways.

Software implementation isn't the big hurdle. It's the R&D on the hardware. I expect we'll be lucky to see the rumble-enabled controller out within a year.
