Are you experiencing Thumbstick Tactile Dysfunction?
If you're having problems controlling your thumbstick, you are not alone. This embarrassing problem is apparently wide-spread enough that accessory developer, KontrolFreeks, is bringing out a new thumbstick attachment -- dubbed the U-150 -- that will have you back in the action in no time.
"Because only fractions of a second can make the difference between dominating the race or swallowing your pride, U-150 gives players an ergonomic advantage for edging out the competition. These thumb levers act much more like a natural extension of your hand. Not only can you take turns faster and with more control, but you can do it with far less stress and a much more relaxed grip."
It sounds pretty useless to us, but as most of these type of problems are psychological, this may be the placebo that restores your confidence and gets you back in the game. Currently shipping for other consoles, a PS3 version is on its way, but exact shipping dates are not yet know.

I have a weird urge to fiddle the edge of the analog sticks.. I dunno why.. ocd or something. It cripples my ability to kick major ass in some games(I say that cause I'm a kick ass gamer, well before I started doin' this.. now I'm semi kick ass or something).
This might keep me from doing that.. that's the only use I see in this. I don't need it for anything else, because I do just fine when my thumbs are on the sticks.
