Read about Assassin's Creed -- in book form!

Well, we've heard the leaked rumors about Assassin's Creed and the wacky, sci-fi storyline it may or may not present to us. Let's see if that's still in the archive... yep, here it is! Thank you, Kristen Bell, you sexy devil. What? She's attractive and she's sort of a devil for spilling the beans about the game. That was at least 47% PC (and not the personal computer kind). Now, where were we? Ah. Since the story is sort of sci-fi, Ubisoft has hired a fairly renown sci-fi author to pen a trilogy of novels based on the Assassin's Creed franchise.

The author is Steven Barnes -- he's written for TV shows such as Andromeda (Kevin Sorbo will always be Hercules to me... so that show is like Hercules in Space), Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. He also won an Emmy for his "A Stitch In Time" teleplay, as well as writing the novel Lion's Blood. The trilogy of books will serve as prequels to the game's story, so if you like reading and you're pumped for Assassin's Creed, give this a lookie-loo.

[Thanks, Jonah!]
