Resistance multiplayer update now available!

The first of the promised content enhancements for the PS3's first bona-fide AAA title is now available via the PlayStation Network. Owners of Resistance: The Fall of Man can now enjoy a few new tweaks including two new multi-player modes: Team Conversion and Team Assault.
Also arriving with the update is something call Round Balancing... a new feature that the die-hard Resistance players seem pretty excited about: "When round balancing is on, if the number of players on each team is uneven at the end of the round, players will be moved from the team with to many players to the team with too few players. Parties will not be separated, So its not guaranteed to result in a perfectly balanced teams.
More content is promised throughout 2007. Very nice to see this game continue to evolve and improve.

Has anyone else experienced any chugging (slowdown) in the menus after the update? More specifically, after you finish a game session. It seems that as it is reading from the HD it slows things down on the screen. They may need an update, to fix their update.

People still play this game?
Has it livened up at all, or is it still like a graveyard? I could give multiplayer another try.
