God of War to go beyond a trilogy?

- Jaffe on Nintendo and the Wii: "I love Nintendo. I can't get my hands on a f***ing Wii."
- Jaffe on asking Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime for a Wii: "I don't know, it's not like he's carrying them around like Santa Claus..."
- Jaffe on Microsoft responding to HOME: "I think it's a good attempt at spin. Good for them for trying to spin their way out of a pretty bad situation."
- Jaffe about missing the rumble feature: "No one would say, "Yeah rumble sucks, nobody cares about it." It's a nice feature... but let's put it this way: when I heard we weren't going to have rumble I wasn't like, "Oh my god we're f***ed."
All right, whatever. The meat of the God of War stuff is on the third page of the interview. To summarize, Jaffe explains that he knows exactly where the story of Kratos is going and where it will end, but he thinks it may take two or three more games to tell the tale completely (sales dependent, sure). Also, Sony will probably release some mini-stories to tie up other loose ends. The third title is rumored to be coming to the PS3 (duh), will support 1080p and some nifty SIXAXIS ideas. Good stuff, funny guy. Curses like a sailor. We at PS3Fanboy always respect men of the sea, because they're like pirates and pirates are pleasant and cordial.

So yeah... March 8th update... Thats spoced to come with a lair demo... That you guys told us was now coming on the 23rd... It doesn't seem to be here. And I'm really angry. Any clue when its coming? And this time... Hopefully its not a lie.

Jaffe is f***ing cool... We should have more people like him in the industry.
I remember the time they interviewed him while he was drunk... f***ing hilarious.

Twisted Metal 2 was my favorite Jaffe game back in the day. Me and my friends spent hour playing it, shooting down the eifel tower in Paris level.
God of War 1 & 2 are both great games that tell an excellent story.
I cant wait for the psp game (Cory insists its not a port) and the inevitable follow up on PS3.
We may not get DMC4 exclusively (congrats 360 owners enjoy the series as much as i have) we still have God Of War.

Jaffe is the man. He shouldnt worry about getting a Wii. the fun is already over for me, hell ill sell mine to him!
GOW is right up there with GTA for best game of all time.... of course i will ALWAYS go back to natural selection http://www.unknownworlds.com

Yey coming from a XBOX fan boy ... i did buy a Ps2 just to play GOD of War ..it really is that good.... & if the 3rd one is any good i mite look about a ps3
Well i think GOD of WAR is a 1st party game?? if so its the best one sony have =D

Makes sense to have more than a 3rd game. They have to build a game engine for GoW3. As long as they have that engine, might as well make 2 or 3 games with it.
