More screens from Drake's Fortune

While the initial sceenshot from Drake's Fortune (pictured above) was cool, it didn't make our jaw sdrop. The latest screens are definitely looking more interesting. This "action epic" is supposedly one-part Die Hard, one-part Tomb Raider and one-part Indiana Jones. It sure sounds like a recipe for success, but we've heard that same pitch and been burned before! Let's hope that developer, Naughty Dog, doesn't let us down.
Check out the beautiful new screens over at The Magic Box.
[Thanks Andrew]

This looks good. However, I will wait to see actual game play.

360 rulez:
Devil May Cry 4 becoming multi-platform doesn't mean it's a piece of shit, but it does bring some questions to mind:
1. If it was so good, in fact so good to sell consoles and many games, then why did they end up porting it? Answer: The game might not be good enough to spurr sales of PS3, or sales of whatever on a single platform, so it must be ported. Devil May Cry 2 anyone?
2. Since it's multi-platform, it wont:
a) Take full advantage of Blu-ray (PS3)
b) Take full advantage of the cell processor (PS3)
c) Take full advantage of having an HDD out of the box (PS3)
d)Take full advantage of PlayStation Home (PS3)
e) Take full advantage of 360s GPU (360)
f) Take full advantage of 360s unified RAM (360)
g) Take full advantage of Xbox LIVE (360)
So, it won't take advantage of neither platform's strengths... or will it? Because it does with each platform, it would become an even more expensive game, and Capcom has clearly stated they don't want that. Also, if they only make it take advantage of a single platform, they'll cripple the sales of the SKU that isn't taking advantage of the respective platform. So expect a sub-par game for both platforms.

Whoa. Those blew me away. There's a sketched/watercolor thing going on, but the lighting is absolutely amazing. Remembering Naughty Dog's work on the Jak and Daxter series, this was always my favorite thing about them: a great sense of cinema, and they always coded the hell out of ps2 to get dynamic lighting in a 3d world. So in a way I'm not surprised to see this looking so good, but it's amazing that they're doing all this on their first ps3 game.

Well... We all know M$ bought DMC4, they can pretty much back Capcom up to make a game that uses all 360 strengths and leave the PS3 with a piece of shit...
Btw, DMC4 turned out to be "Game of The Year" candidate now... Come on, i own the 3 games for PS2, the first DMC is a very nice game, the second one is a piece of shit and the third one is better than the second one but it's pretty much the same thing as always, let's see now if DMC4 turns out to be Devil May Rehash 4....
ps: sorry my poor english ;p

I'm definitely looking forward to this one, I figure it's a pretty safe bet this will be good since it's in Naughty Dog's hands. The enviornment is looking pretty damn impressive, the next-gen Tomb Raider game is going to have some strong competition for sure.
