Virtua Tennis 3 PS3 vs. Xbox 360

With so many "overlapping" games now available on the PS3 and the 360, the question of which one looks better is inevitable. Our good friends at gametrailers.com have posted up some comparison footage of Virtua Tennis 3 (I loved the original on the Dreamcast!) showing off the graphics on both systems.

You'll really need to watch the HD version of this to make an honest assessment, but you'll be able to see some of the more obvious (and consistent) differences in the video above. The biggest differentiator seems to be that the PS3 gives a brighter, higher-contrast image (some will call it "washed out"). While both versions look fantastic, the definitive answer to which one looks better is going to be down to some personal taste (or pride) as they are nearly identical. With multi-platform games, it's looking likely that the "better" version will be determined by controls and exclusive content, not graphics.
