Ninja Gaiden Sigma PS3 vs. XBox/360 comparison

We've actually scored an HD comparison of the PS3 title Ninja Gaiden Sigma with the original Ninja Gaiden on the XBox (in both 480i on the original XBox and the not-very-different simulated 720p on the 360). Obvious graphical advances aside, it's fairly obvious that the two games are completely, completely different as far as gaming experience goes. Sure, the moves may be familiar, the territory and enemy AI may not be that much different (how much further can one go than "really frickin' hard"?), but the experience of playing the game will be a world of different.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is already in developement.
But Good job 1up. You you proved that ninja gaiden on the xbox is inferior to ninja gaiden sigma on the ps3. I'm still waiting on the MGS (ps1) to MGS twin snakes (gamecube). lol

Actually, GameTrailers and a number of other sites did such a comparison. Here's a link to that one:

The main intent is to show how far gaming graphics have come in only a few short years (whether it's in a full remake like Conker's or a next-gen enhancement like Sigma), not to lead thirteen year old kids to shout out "omfg ps3 pwnzrzrz teh lameboxe3sh1tty mirite?lolol".

Even if you are a 360 fan..chill...I dont think the intention is to prove anything other than the fact that consoles have advanced so much. And also to prove that its not just about graphics but also much better gameplay.

this is being blown way out of proportion....this is a comparative video of the progression the studio has made considering it is just rereleasing a game and just making it alot prettier and fixing bugs or things in the game they didnt like....i own both systems i did with last gen too. they are both great in there own aspects i dont see the point of bashing another system...everyone likes there own thing and someone bashing something online wont change it....it just seems kinda pointless to me...
but i have ninja gaiden for xbox and i will have it for PS3 just how it is.......really all of you that are bashing other systems need to get out...maybe get a job or so and get away from video games....they arent everything theres alot more important things to do than give your reasons why your system is better...how about we wait till next next gen to see who won this war...neither of these systems is at there poteintal yet and i think till then theres no way to say who is better than who...its kind of pointless...just look at the progression of PS2 and Xbox games from start till now....we will see the same thing with next gen and i dont care who wins b/c either way we will all be graced with amazing games to enjoy.

That's because there are less of them to stir up trouble. Let's say 5% of PS3 Owners are assholes, and 5% of Xbox360 owners are assholes...
5% of 1.65 Million = 8,250 PS3 assholes
5% of 10.4 Million = 520,000 Xbox 360 assholes
Now let's say 1% of assholes read PS3/360 Fanboy...
1% of 8,250 = 82 asshole PS3fanboy Readers
1% of 520,000 = 5,200 asshole Xbox360 Readers
Now let's say a quarter of those asshole readers bother to check out the "enemy's" website...
25% of 82 = 20 asshole PS3 readers who visit xbox360fanboy

lol good point tom. but it doesn't mean its not annoying. Why cant these comments just be deleted thus preventing the need for our responses. Its like someone walks into your house, takes a crap on the floor and then rubs it in your face!
Of course your not going to just sit there and take it, your gonna get up and smash their fucking face in!! Obviously this is hard to do through a computer so we do the next best thing and rant/post back.

Dudes, how about imagining a world where people are allowed to buy whatever console they like and don't have to put up with "PS3 rules!" or "You guys have hit a new low, 360 is great!" I think anyone who needs this sort of outlet probably has a very small penis and even lower self-esteem. I am honestly trying to figure out which of the new machines to buy, and am a Sony fan from way back. I am prepared to change, but I'm not going to fall for the spurious web statements of various Microsoft flunkies or Fanboys. How about some actual lively intelligent debate, to educate. Or is that beyond you?
