Time Crisis 4 on the PS3?

While they're not exactly a sacred source for breaking videogame news, EBgames has produced its share of interesting rumors over the years. Adding to their ever growing list of gossip worthy items is this listing for Time Crisis 4 for the PS3. Allegedly, TC4 will hit the mighty black monolith on November 13, 2007. Just in time for a Turkey Day shoot-out! Going for the low, low price of $89.99, the game supposedly ships with a Guncon. If so, this is uber-cool.We've got our insiders at Namco sifting through the corporate garbage bins for some sort of confirmation. In the meantime, discuss amongst yourselves... and pray that this isn't an early April Fool's joke from the bored-to-tears web developers over at EBgames HQ.

This could be big news actually. If they can find a light gun solution that works for modern day televisions (ie not CRTs).. it would be huge and much better than the pointer functionality of the wiimote. Add in the existing motion control and upcoming eyetoyHD, and things get more interesting.

#1 makes a great point. I remember this was a major hurdle for them. I spoke to tech support after I couldn't get TC3 to work on my HD tv a couple years back not realizing it wasn't possible at the time.

I hope that if this is true they also include a foot pedal of sorts, I stomped the hell out of my extra ps1 (was it really that long ago?) controller when I learned pressing a button on it worked for hiding.

Newer lightguns (LCD) use infrared emitters...
Maybe you'll HAVE to have the new eyetoy (it is supposed to have those no?).
