Final Fantasy Tactics' beautiful box art
Not too many games are big enough to warrant a box art story. Well, this one is. The Japanese Final Fantasy Tactics is as pretty as the game itself. Click the image above to see a full, high-res version of the box. What do you think? Does it get you any more excited for the game?

I really like the character design for this game.
Hopefully the NA release will use the same box art.

That's nice. They're really going all out for this. I hope the box art stays for the NA release too. Lol, they even put Algus on the cover.

Woah. That is some beautiful artwork.
I've think between Final Fantasy Tactics and Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles I'm definately going to be getting a PSP...
...I guess the price drop doesn't hurt either.

This cover art is really cool.
Hey, where's that old man who becomes a traitor at the middle of the game?

So who would we e-mail to beg for the North American version to keep the same cover?
CitizenGeek @ Apr 4th 2007 6:11AM
That's freakin' awesome! I'm a European, which means Square Enix hates me, so I never got the chance to play the original FFT. I hope they release this version in English!

Beautiful? How does that look different from every other anime/manga-style group picture? All the characters have the same facial features. The only difference is their clothing and hair color!
I admit it: I do not get the appeal of this half-assed, 1950s Disney-ripoff Japanese art style. It lacks any originality or true creativity. You could have copied this out of any of a thousand different manga.
Of course, I hate the game, too. In my opinion, Square/Enix has only ever made one good game-- And then just copied it over and over.

when is it being released in american version?
