WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 first screens

Speaking of wrestling, which of the "fighting" style games do you find most enjoyable? Are you the wrestling nut? If so, what... ah... subgenre of wrestling is your pie? Prefer boxing? Or are you the classic martial arts fighter, finding the most joy in tossing out a hadoken (forgive the spelling if incorrect) and slamming your opponent with a shoryuken (again, sorry)? We asked how people felt about different racing game styles, so now we're asking you, the battling enthusiasts!

This could be the most unappealing game of this year for the one key fact it is based on WWE, no matter how good the game is it cant change that.

Hmmmm I guess sam is just another gay TNA fan.

shuriken...? yeah Im thinking no... Shoryuken is a perfect romanization and the Hadouken was close enough. ANYHOW, I'm an SNK fan who still plays the NeoGeo every day so I lean towards the 2D games (Mortal Kombat not included although I dont completely hate it). I like my share of 3D fighters, the main ones being Virtua and Soul Calibur (Tekken is decent but certainly not overwhelming). I guess I'm sort of a Japanese fighting game purist so I dont like the wrestling games and Def Jam makes me want to vomit. If I could sue to get the time I spent downloading that awful demo back I would.
