Nomura remains vague on Kingdom Hearts 3
Kingdom Hearts 3. The very mention of this title sends a large cluster of people into a spiral of shame and happiness that makes absolutely no sense. How could they possibly enjoy a game riddled with cutesy Disney characters, they might ask themselves. The answer is simple: because the games are awesome. Tetsuya Nomura knows this, so he's remained fairly tight-lipped on the next entry in the ongoing tale of the Keyblade and its wielder (who knows who it may be in the next game). He's still tight-lipped, but a few details emerged that are worth mentioning.Nomura calls the next game "a new series" which can be kind of confusing. He decided to clear it up by adding this: "the next title won't just be Kingdom Hearts III. If it were III, we wouldn't call it a new series." So, if it's not KH3, but it is, then what is it? He speaks of Xehanort and Sora, how they may or may not be involved in the next game. Our thought? There's no more Disney to explore, so they're going to move it onto a more Square-Enix world -- or perhaps loop in movies that aren't specifically Disney. What do you guys glean from this?

Well from the new end movie where you see 3 guys fight a bald guy... there is one character who may be Roxas or Sora and 2 new bluehaired characters(i think). but at the end you see Mickey's tale... So I guess this time it might not be as much disney stuff as the last couple of games sinc ethe battle scenes are pretty violent...

Um... what? You ARE joking, right? There's TONS of Disney left -- in fact, I'm kind of annoyed how much material they rehashed in the second game. There's Robin Hood, the Jungle Book, the Black Cauldron, ALL the Pixar material, and the weekend afternoon Disney cartoons from the 90s (Tailspin, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles) to name some of it.
In regards to that last one, I REALLY, REALLY hope they use material from the cartoon series. Seriously, how cool would it be to have Goliath or Darkwing Duck join your party?

i agree with khfan, theres quite a bit of disney left untapped (imo, the reused stuff in 2 shoulda been left out.. i hated atlantica the first time... and even more the second time)
Robin hood would totally own, and toy story...
And for FF titles... how cool would it be to do a FFXI level in the same manner of .Hack-esque fake online play. lol.

kh1 was all about the heartless while kh2 was mostly about the nobodies....the new game comming up is most likely about the souls. in one of the ansem reports he talked about the soul so i think that the three knights in the secret trailer resemble the souls of sora, riku, and kairi or something like that.
