Sovereign Symphony is PS3 bound
Sovereign Symphony is a new RPG in development by Turkish developer, Ceidot. Scheduled for initial release on the PC and then eventually on the PS3, SS aims to set itself apart from the pack with one of the richest RPG stories to ever grace the genre (the story has allegedly been in development for six years).
"It is planned to be a role-playing game; a game type that gives you a chance to enter a new world of a fiction/scenario and be a character of this world. Obviously, Sovereign Symphony is the Turkey's unique, potential, international game. We do not mean anything like an hybrid of RTS games and RPGs. Our style and gameplay will be totally different with its strategical essences in retro-futuristic and unique fiction."
I have no idea what that guy just said, but it sounds awesome. Don't look for this one until at least late 2008... maybe this will be the game that Dark Kingdom should have been.

it looks sort of like the Bauldur's Gate / Neverwinter Nights RPGs on the PC. If it has half the story, the "bland" graphics are meaningless.
Actually, it looks pretty good compared to either of those two series. If the rendering is refined a bit and done in real time and the gameplay is there, I'd definitely pick it up.

So.. it'll be in a future where everybody is retro? Like it's the year 3007 but everyone dresses like they lived in the 2980's because the 80's were so much cooler?

Please let this be a title that I can play on the PS3 with a mouse and keyboard setup.
Or, at least, make the controls customizable...

Farcry and Crysis are also made by Turk developers. I hope this game will be same quality lvl as Frcry and Crysis. Ps3 need good games, more.. moree...
