OMG! Sony's complete "This is Living" commercial!

Wow. I'm speechless. It's 5 minutes and 48 seconds long... but it won't take nearly that long for your jaw to drop.

This may be a first for video game advertising. We'll refrain from spoiling this for you. And we'll refrain from embedding the video directly to ensure that you know what you're getting into when you click-through.

Here is Sony's masterpiece. Click through at your own risk. I guess the PS3 isn't for kids... can you imagine Nintendo advertising like this?

That was...

a masterpiece. Unfortunately it still has nothing to do with the product they are selling no matter how many people try and convince themselves of secret meanings behind the actions of the characters.

As a film, however. That was a work of art.

Just when I get some of what they are trying to get at, they throw in some guy jerking off to soccer (or rather futbol)...WTF! I pray that if they survive this storm they hire a better advertising firm for the next console because this ad campign (for Europe and US)is just a mess.

Well said, sounds like a good time to me. Didn't catch the full spot while it was up, but I'm sure given the... interest in previous thisisliving spots, we'll see it elsewhere soon enough. Hopefully they'll put it up in the UK store, they've got several of the short ones there now.

I went to thisisliving.org or whatever it was, entered my birthdate, clicked on the explosive device and got bored. I love Sony, but I did not feel this in any way. Course, I suppose I didn't give it a chance. I shouldn't have clicked on the... whatever that thing is called, where you pull out the pin. Anyways, didn't feel it.

top fucking kudos for sonys ad dept! M$'s only good offering was 'Flight of life' which was admitidly good...ah well,we can watch loads of ps2/360 games congulate into an oversized replica of the original, infamously unreliable piece that it is ;)

:D hahaha! it's an awesome ad, but wtf does it have to do with ps3??! i think it's meant to catch people off-guard... get them to say "holy shit! that's awesome! i want a PS3!" turns to friend and asks: "what's a PS3??"
