In your face, Tony Hawk!
We'll admit it. EA's answer to the house that Tony Hawk built looks good. Real good. Of course, you already know that since you're watching the slick video above.
We love, love, love that camera. Let's hope that it performs that well in the actual game. Look for Skate late this year. Try not to screw this up, EA.

PS3 IGN has this game being released in August...that would be cool if it was.

Ha! This one will probably be great, but then the yearly "updates" of the sequels will feature EAs trademark which we all know is/are ; lack of originality, introduce one crappy new feature while taking away some of the best features of the previous installment and (most importantly ( right? right? NO not fckin right!!!) a small graphical upgrade.
Question is how do the most unoriginal bastards get to the top of the world in any industry?? ( and they do just look at music charts FFS )I wish i knew....

I wish they would show "live" game play footage instead of this bullshit replay stuff they've been feeding us.

That looks incredibly wooden and boring.

seriously? that camera? isn't it a bit too low? how are you going to see all the jumps and obstacles really?

EA sucks, they will screw it up

EA is lame. they develop for the XB360, then port to PS3, and we always get the short end of the stick.

Apart from the replay camera angles, there is nothing in that footage that this would be better than Tony Hawk gameplay wise.

Hey, it's just last-gen payback!

It looks so plain... Where are all the pedestrians and other skaters??? It doesn't look like a game it looks like Microsoft Flight Simulator ala Skateboard style, except you're just on a skateboard and you just skate around a crappy urban area...The video doesn’t even make the game look fun…. Many companies have tried to replicate the success of the THPS series and all have failed... Keep up the boring, generic, un-original work EA...
