Ratchet and Clank show they do indeed have hearts of gold
Basically, Insomniac created a replica of a 9-year old paralyzed boy named James and will put him into their upcoming Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction because the boy said his greatest passions included designing and playing video games. Go Insomniac, reaching out and stuff! Sony even did their part and equipped James with a PS3, PSP, PS2 and a harem of sexy games. Go Sony! Reaching out and stuff.
If you want to hear about James and his family, we're going to go ahead and tell you to watch the episode. It'll be cool. Again, April 22nd and 8pm central. This post deserves our patented giant fuzzy-armed thumbs up.

Wow. That IS really sweet. Too bad there are probably a couple thousand other kids in a very similar situation.

I Really dont think it matters whether or not there are millions of kids in his same situation the point is they reached out i mean cmon he lost his father and he will no longer be able to walk... if he was ur nephew or if you know him at all i bet you would be as happy as can be i mean they hooked him up witha psp ps2 and a ps3 now he can do the thing he loves most and even if its only for the short time hes holdin that control he can forget bout everything else... this isnt about fanboyism and i dont wanna start flamebait but Go Sony and Go Insomniac you guys have rreally made a difference in someones life forever

You seem to be overlooking the fact that the first thing I said conveyed how impressed I was by the gesture. I'm not trying to say "Yeah well, they should have done a lot more.", I'm just pointing out that there are likely a lot of other kids who also deserve similar special treatment, which was only meant to suggest that companies should do this kind of thing more often.
I think what Insomniac did was fantastic. That kid will never forget it, and it's really impressive and even.. heartwarming to see that kind of gesture being made.
