Ripping apart a PSP, seeing what's inside
Catchy rock-classical music accompanies this video tutorial of a PSP being dismantled, broken down, ripped apart, torn, exposed. Why would anyone want to tear apart their system? Maybe to replace an LCD screen. Or install a faceplate. Or to make crunchy UMD-flavored sandwich. Regardless of the reason, this user video from SinSin86 should give you a good look at what's inside your PSP. And it's more than just "magic."

my speakers and headphone jack is not working. has been this way for like 1 week. SUCKS so bad. i don't have the cash to fix it. or that screwdriver in vid to open the psp. i'm thinkin of selling this one for like $70 and getting a new $169 one.

The speakers don't work at all, or they have bad sound? My speakers did that (scratchy-sound), and I just bought replacement speakers from divineo.com. They work fine now. But if your headphone jack isn't working either...then I don't know.

Ah. I actually have a spare PSP with one *very* mild dead pixel at the bottom of the screen. I think I'm gonna' finally replace that LCD.
