Captain Jack Sparrow swings into action!
Yesterday it was Spidey! Today it's Captian Jack! This is definitly the "Summer of the Sequel" at movie theaters, and, as you might imagine, that sequelitis has carried over to the console world via a slew of movie licensed tie-ins.
While we were excited by the potential shown in many of the Spiderman 3 trailers, we haven't gotten the warm an fuzzies from the Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End gameplay trailers. And the latest PotC trailer doesn't do anything to change our minds. With bland graphics, lackluster platfoming and museum pacing, we're worried about this one. At least we have the movie to look forward to...

Reminds me of the sea ship stage in god of war.

Under educated playstation fanboys.
That is Elizabeth, and ironically enough play on a 360.

It looks pretty ok to me... I see some hope.

Typical xbox fanboys, picking at any stupid thing they can.
That game takes meh to new levels, whatever console we're seeing footage from. Looks like it should make Ghost Rider seem like a good game.

in that sequence, That thing better uses the sixaxis controller to balance. or else it'd be pointless.

So far they've only shown 360 footage (impressive though) which gives me an uneasy feeling this will be another crap port (along with TH8, Fear, Splinter Cell).
Andir3.0 @ Apr 24th 2007 9:02AM
Your right, it is 360 footage (as seen by the "B" button and "RT" [trigger])

It looks very meh. Those pastelly graphics, stuff in the distance with no drama... these are not good programmers, or people in a hurry.
But what would we expect, of a port from a movie?
We know from history that most ports from movies are crap, and if this has good control (not likely, considering the history of these things) it would at least be good enough, for that, and we could forgive the bland graphics.
But I have a feeling it will have bland graphics and poor control....
But youngsters will still play it, as I imagine (pessimistically) some of them are still playing that Charlie and The Chocolate Factory thing.
