Japan's PS Store snags 25 new games... where are ours?
Granted, the American PS-Store is pretty weak in its selection of original PlayStation titles, the Japanese store has time and again gathered up the greatest games from the old console. In a similar effort, Japanese gamers have a giant update to look forward to -- they're getting a couple dozen of games to play. Most can be played on the PS3 directly, too. All is not well, though. The price of games in Japan has gone from 500 yen to 600. Hopefully this will not echo in America.PS3/PSP compatible games:
- Spectral Force (Idea Factory)
- R-Types (Irem)
- A.IV. Evolution Global (Artdink)
- Resident Evil Directors Edition (Capcom)
- Bishibashi Special (Konami)
- Arc the Land (Sony)
- Ore no Shi wo Koete Yuke (Sony)

You know, I am really tired of Sony!!! Japn gets over 20 PS1 games and USA get 5 or 6 and ther are only 2 worth buying. What the crap. How fucking hard is it to upload these games to the American severs? If I wasn't broke from buying a PS3 I would go out and get an Xbox 360.

Philsoma

Yes, it's frustrating, but the fact that Japan is getting such a bevy of titles in one week SHOULD indicate that PS1 support in general is improving, and that NA and EU (and UK..) should see more support soon.

Be thankful you don't live in the EU Misha. :)

Just get me Silent Hill 1, Soul Reaver, and Bushido Blade and I'll be happy. C'mon, Sony!

Wow look at all the neo geo games. Pure gold! Japanese are so lucky, those games are amazing. I hope they come out over here in the US.

Man what is it these days? Gamers need to put down the double java mocha and take a chill pill. Sony is doing right by us gamers so cut them some slack already. I mean , do you want to pay for right to access these games as well, like live users? All is good in Sony land, soon to be renamed Home. Bithin!

People complaining about the EU should understand the likely reasons why - because there is no point shoving out PS1 games to the EU while they're in the process of fixing the issues with making them work on the PS3. The chances are that the EU will see PS1 titles soon enough after the issues are sorted.
