What? The US finally gets better box art than Japan?
Final Fantasy III on Nintendo DS launched with some
spectacular box art in Japan, but American gamers received
boring white box art that looked worse than most Chinatown bootlegs. PSP gamers need not worry about the packaging for the upcoming
Final Fantasy remakes. We're delighted to present these two glorious packages made for US audiences.
Let's hope that Square Enix continues bringing us some love: we want our copies of
Final Fantasy Tactics to launch with the
Japanese box art. Or else.

Well considering that I live in the UK and we have never had anything but a white box with the logo on then it's save to say these will be same if they arrive in Europe.

I hate Sony for screwing over PSP owners with their draconian stance on homebrew
I hate Squeenix for charging a punitive amount for the games.
And I hate myself for knowing that however shrilly I complain I'll buy them.

Well the UK boxart of Final Fantasy III for DS has the Japanese boxart with the amazing Yoshitaka Amano art on it (The US version doesn't). So hopefully we will get an awesome boxart too.

The first one will be worth it, number 2 sucks. The only Final Fantasies I've ever played. Ever. Besides Crystal Chronicles.

Well, as a European I gotta say that I always prefered the "Logo on white" box art than the pre rendered pics used for the American box arts. There's something classy about it.

We also ways get the Japanese artwork so it's no surprise that we have that version but it is a surprise that the Americans didn't get a better one or the same.

Wow! I don't really want to buy FF 2. I really want FF1 but FF2's box art and the graphics make me want to buy both.
