Calling all Cars! delayed AGAIN - David Jaffe crushes my dreams
Considering the game has only taken 11 months to make, it seems like we've been waiting forever for Calling all Cars. Unfortunately, it appears we're going to have to wait a little longer. David Jaffe confirmed today on the NeoGaf forums that Calling all Cars! will NOT be coming out this Thursday, negating what he said last week.Evidently, there were a handful of major bugs that were discovered at the last second that caused Sony to delay the release and push the game back indefinitely. It also turns out that the May 3rd release date was never official, and that Jaffe actually got in trouble from Sony for suggesting it did. Jaffe expressed hope that it will pass QA soon, but was clearly wary of offering up an exact release date.
But don't worry, according to the rumors, we are getting Super Rub-a-Dub as a replacement this week!

Honestly, I'd rather they give a far off release date, or a TBD, instead of pushing games back over, and over... how many titles for the ps3 were we supposed to have by now?

super rub-a-dub have been here in europe for quite some time now. but we still don't have any ps1 games in the store.
i don't think they(sony) are doing their job to the fullest, theres no red line throughout their informations. nothing is said about firmware updates or a clear releaselist of downloadable games/demos/video from the store.
just have to wait in the twilightzone for games like Calling all cars

Correct me if I'm wrong, but CAC was originally supposed to come out in... February? And it's basically been delayed a week about ten times?
Whatever, the more delayed the game is, the sweeter it'll finally be when there's a huge influx of great titles this summer/fall.

Bummer.
Maybe this'll give a chance to post Sigma demo impressions- I'm dying to hear what it's like.

while i'm all for quality assurance i think the continued announcements (it's coming out on X date) are really starting to annoy me. if the game's not ready, then stop frigging talking about it like it is. by the time it comes out, will anyone care anymore?

So should we start betting on whether Warhawk comes out before CaC?
