Gamespot's Motorstorm Tournament Challenge sign ups now open
Are you the best Motorstorm player you know? Fancy a free trip to San Francisco with the chance of winning $1000? All you have to do is be one of the final four left standing in Gamespot's Motorstorm Tournament Challenge.
The sign up sheet seems to be filling up pretty fast. There are only ten out of the eighty slots still available. Over the course of the tournament those eighty will turn into ten, who will be further whittled down to four. These lucky people will be whisked away to Gamespot HQ in San Francisco, where they will compete for the $1000 prize money live on Gamespot Tournament TV.
A couple of stipulations apply. You must be a Gamespot paid subscriber and you must live in the US. I guess ideally you must be pretty good at Motorstorm, too. If you satisfy these conditions then what are you waiting for? Go ahead and sign up. Good luck!

No loving for Canadians. Well I don't even have a gamespot account. Why would you pay to get a little xtra content on a website? Wouldn't you rather buy a soda?

I paid 5 bucks to try for 1000....I can take a 5 dollar loss for that. I'm SDK_Cpt_Deadeye on Gamespot and Deadeye6 on Motorstorm. Bring it on people that $1000 and trip is mine!

5$ for a gamespot account? Or is that on top of the gamespot account?
Good luck anyways.

No the Gamespot account is free, but in order to gain access to Tournaments you have to be a premium member and pay 5 bucks a month or 40 annually I think. Win or Lose it will be lots of fun.

Ok. Ya I guess it is worth it to enter into this tournament but its still expensive just to view some xtra features.

I do not see why Sony doesn't have an International Store. Maybe thats what that new update is about.

Anthony...Is there a medical problem of some sort that you should be taking medication for? Who should we contact to have that taken care of?

massive-98...
Are there ANY companies that have one store for the whole world...especially when it comes to digital content the copyright laws and distribution laws, even movie and game classification laws are different everywhere.
I can't think of any.
iTunes is different all over the world.
Xbox's Market place is different all over the world.
Sony Connect is different etc etc...
I think hoping the Home is region free is fine for the social interaction bit but the content you will have access to is still going to be dictated by local laws and such.

BTW...my understanding is that the are preparing the EU store for the SingStar launch...
