Second wave of Home beta invites go out

One of our readers informed us yesterday that he received a Home beta invite in the PlayStation Store. Other reports have started coming in as well, confirming that the second wave of the invites has gone out. Unfortunately, it looks like this is still just for GAP members who were accepted into the private beta initially, so those hoping for a shot at the public beta will have to wait a bit longer. Still, it sounds like Sony is expanding the beta user base pretty quickly so hopefully we won't have to wait much longer.

Anyone else out there get their Home beta invites?

Damn, I'm in the GAP and I got the hope email and I'm so freaking frustrated that I haven't gotten the beta yet. I've been waiting for so long, hoping after I got the first email and hoping again after the second hope email and waiting and waiting and not getting it now is really dissappointing. And it's even worsened by the fact that a person on my friend's list has the home beta!! And I only have TWO people on my friend's list!!!! Maybe I wasn't meant to get home :(

@munu9: I'm right there with you. New GAP member and I've gotten ZERO benefits from it after answering poll after poll.

I hope Sony realizes how valuable we are before we lose patience.

I feel the same way I got mine right after launch then even said on the PS site put all my info down of the PS3. I am even a GAPer got both emails then nothing. I just hope the next wave I get in.

I havent gotten my email that i was accepted yet either. So i checked out the store when i got home from work.. sure enough my 2nd home was waiting for my downloading pleasure. So your best bet is to check the store first!

where in the store do you check? first the halo 3 beta fucks up and now i cant get a home? this really sux ass! doesnt any game companies want our opinion on what we want and not what they think we want? dam you sony, ms, and bungie!!!

I'm angry, mostly with myself. I was on vacation when I received the first invite, after checking the site daily, and haven't gotten anything since. This sucks.

No acceptance email but the Home Beta invite was just sitting in the "Featured Items" section of the PlayStation Store. I'm a GAP member and bought my machine in early January. I also received two previous emails about the beta so it looks like they are rolling it out slowly. Good luck and look for JimyD on Home.
