GameSpot's MotorStorm tournament finale today at 7:00 PM EST

Gamespot's MotorStorm tournament is wrapping up today, with the top 10 racers competing in one last competition of their off-road racing skills. The event is starting at 7:00 PM EST, with the top player pulling in $1,000 worth of prizes and a whole lotta geek cred.

Personally, I'll be watching and taking notes. I need some help clearing those last tickets in MotorStorm - the AI is just plain evil!

I had downloaded on my PS3 the demo for Motorstorm and was unimpressed. But I was at one of my friends' home yesterday, and he showed me motorstorm. Man, saying that the demo doesn't do justice to the game is an understatement. I also ended up not understanding why people criticize the game for not being like the E3'05 trailer, when the graphics are still very pretty, and not so distant. The developer even said they expect a 5-fold performance increase for the next motorstorm, and I can't wait to see how it'll look. But the most important part of the game, is that it's extremely fun; the only downside is that there is a noticeable learning curve, so you need patience to learn how to play the game.

The game is awesome, and PS3 naysayers should stop saying "THERE ARE NO GAMES LOL" if they haven't played this one.
