Ubisoft working on new PS3 exclusive
Ubisoft kind of dropped the bomb on the PS3 when they announced Assassin's Creed was going to be a multiplatform title instead of an exclusive. However, Ubisoft big-wig Yves Guillemot has decided to give the hints confirming that Ubisoft is indeed working on an exclusive title for the PlayStation 3. Prince of Persia, anyone? We don't know, actually, since no details at all were given.Details on the game will, however, be revealed on Ubisoft's Ubidays event coming up tomorrow and Wednesday in Paris. They'll be showing off Assassin's Creed as well as the latest Splinter Cell title at the event. We're going to focus on this little exclusive thing, though. We're anticipating a timed exclusive with a new Prince of Persia title -- although if any of you have a guess, feel free to drop it as a comment!

Ya think this is bad? The Wii Fanboy site is even slower, and 360 Fanboy is dull (even with the Halo 3 beta).

Actually I always felt that the 360 fanboy site has always had a ton to write about. There are many community oriented things happening all the time around the 360. But that's me.
I have not been to Wii fanboy, ever.

It's probably just our own version of Splinter Cell, though a next gen PoP would be really cool.

Next gen version of Pod, this time instead of showing us the advantages of MMX it can show us the advantages of the Cell!

Just please don't make it suck and delay it over and over, please Ubi.
If they're not happy with the ps3 sales numbers, maybe they could look at their own repeated delays and poorly ported titles...

I wish Ubisoft would put that damn POP remake they're doing for XBL on PSN. An exclusive is cool, but I want that remake!

Haha...article should say "Ubisoft tries really hard to stop failing on every platform." I'll believe a good game on the PS3 when I see it from this company.

Ubisoft is doing a great job in my opinion. They are making games for either the 360, PS3 or the Wii, instead of multiplats.

Ubisoft is kindof creeping me out, right now.
I mean, they did that whole "we can't code as good-of-AI-on-teh-PS3 thing" (which means, literally, for whatever reason, THEY couldn't code it), then they release a crappy port to ps3, then they make a ps3 "exclusive" un-exclusive (which is fine-- you want un-exclusive? I want un-exclusive-- just play to each machine's strengths-- I can name one example I know of in the past where that happened, and I'm going to push this button again and again, and it's Rockstar, with Midnight Club III-- the ps2 looked almost identical to the xbox despite running half as fast, because they knew how to use it's extra processors-- that's f**king programming, right there), so when "OOOOHHH be- SOFT" says they have something special for ps3, what I see that they have is some crappily-programmed game exclusive to the ps3.
No one will care, and it will suck.
Oh.
I seem to have gotten all hot and fanboyish.
Well, I know. We'll see if Ubisoft's programming compares to ps3 exclusives like Fortune: Uncharted.
If it compares, they're not bastards.
If it doesn't, welll...
At least Ubisoft games will be good on the Xbox...

Probabley HAZE. I hope it would be awesome to have that game a PS3 exclusive.
Lp47 @ May 23rd 2007 1:16AM
By the way these guys dont mean what there saying ubisoft. I know that you guys are jumping into this big next gen war and it will take some time to figure the PS3 out. But look at HAZE your doing an awesome job. If that is exclusive for PS3 all PS3 fanboys will love ya again. Just dont make everything Multiplatform ex.(Assasins creed).
