Becoming the perfect weapon in Manhunt 2
For our late-night readers, get a taste of Rockstar's upcoming Manhunt 2. We don't know much about the game except that it will be crazy. And there will be lots and lots of killing. We're not sure what system is shown in the trailer (Wii, PS2 or PSP), but we're confident that all three versions of this title will look pretty much the same.
The ominous narrator at the end reminds us that the title is not yet rated ... but we're going to take a gander and assume it'll get an Mature rating.

Do you have to play the first one in order to get what is happening in the second one?

I think the Wii version will look better because I trust Rock* to use the Wii strengths and not just port it.

i don't, i think it will look almost identical like all the other psp-ps2-wii multiplatform games

No, the story in the second game has absolutely nothing to do with the plot of the first game

Read ign's Manhunt 2 wii preview. I'll exerpt some of the article but I suggest reading the entire thing if you're at all interested in manhunt 2.
"The Wii version of Manhunt 2 looks noticeably better than the PS2 version. Rockstar Toronto has used the extra horsepower that Nintendo's console delivers to "up the gore." This is done in a few key ways. For starters, character models in the Wii version will display realistic blood splatters, bruising, gunshot wounds, gashes, and head wounds. In addition, blood will actually spray the screen during combat and executions in the Wii iteration, just as it will accumulate on Danny as he explores the asylum. Considering how important the gore factor is to Manhunt 2, these are all welcome additions. The title meanwhile looks very sharp on Wii, moves at a steady 30 frames per second, and runs in both 480p and 16:9 widescreen modes."
