Monolith wants you to name their next F.E.A.R. title

Monolith and Vivendi had a pretty rough split after F.E.A.R. was released. Vivendi has held onto the rights to the name F.E.A.R. and expect to release a sequel with a "2" tossed on the end, but Monolith wants to create a game that takes place in the same universe, but can't use the title name or, presumably, the characters and organizations. Thus, they need a name for their project.
You can submit any name proposals at their website, until June 22nd. They'll pick their faves, host a poll, and let the winning title get its time in the spotlight. Let us know your suggestions, too. Anything goes, but we'd love to keep it up with the funky acronyms. We'd vote for R.E.A.R. -- Really Evil Alma Representin', or B.L.A.H. -- Breaking Laws Around Hell.

The "enter contest" button goes to a non-working page as of now. But I bet there'll be millions of entries titled "Second Encounter Assault Recon", or S.E.A.R.
Isn't that genius? Or is it legally not allowed?

How about they name it P.O.R.T.E.D or C.R.A.P. since it will be one for sure and probably both.

You morons. These guys had nothing to do with the ports. It was Day 1 Studios and Vivendi doing the port.
Monolith was long gone by then.

I'll agree with P.O.S. ... that game sucked. I would have been pissed if I had actually bought it.

a little FYI,
oblivion for ps3 is good with outdoor environments and
loadtimes.
oblivion for 360 is good with dungeon environments and downloadable content.
PC owns both versions.
great game on any system but they all suck in terms of physics.

Monolith does not want an acronym for the title of the sequel. Read the article to find out why and also to see some of the funniest acronyms to date.
