Assassin's Creed set for November worldwide release
Altair has been sent to kill some key players on both sides of the Third Crusade and with you in control of his movements, his survival lies in your skills in stealth and asskickery. Ubisoft wants everyone to enjoy this game at the same time, it seems. They have issued a statement that Assassin's Creed will be launched in "all major territories" this November. So, it may not be a "worldwide" release, but for the gaming market, Ubisoft considers it may as well be.Ubisoft expects the game to exceed all expectations, and expectedly, expect commercial and critical success. Funny how a single word will contort to fill up an entire set of ideas. Or not. Funny to wordsmiths, we guess. The game will ship for the PS3, 360, and the PC with both a regular and special edition. Most people really hyped up for this game should snag the special edition, since it has a decent amount of goodies to keep you satisfied.

Can't wait!!

I'm not sure which system to get this on. I've got bothe the 360 and PS3. I'd like to get it for the PS3, just because the system's more powerful, but I figure that the code might be more efficient for the 360 as developers have had more time with it. Any advise, guys?

Rumor has it that the 360 version has been delayed due to A.I issues.

Anyone has got the Ubisoft 2GB concept art which contaiend some of assassin's creed, and pop4, etc concept art?!
Breeze @ Jun 7th 2007 6:10PM
The PS3 is the lead SKU so it looks like the 360 will be getting the 'tard' port.
TSD @ Jun 7th 2007 9:25PM
Breeze, how exactly did you come to that conclusion?
I could understand if you thought the PS3 was the tard port, since it was previously reported that it would have worse AI that the 360

But everything since then has shown that the two will be exactly the same.

So what exactly are you basing this idea that the PS3 version will be better, hhmmmmm?

My 360 died. So I guess I have no choice but to get the PS3 version.

TSD,
According to Jade Raymond, the 360 A.I was developed using .NET
TSD @ Jun 8th 2007 12:35AM
Breeze, how exactly does using .net (source? btw) compromise the 360's AI? for all we know the PS3's AI was developed using something even less powerful than .NET. The fact remains that UBI says the only difference between the two versions are that one uses rumble and the other uses motion sensors.
And matjet, way to click on link #2. Did you not notice that I freaking said the 360's supriority was a false rumor and then I PROVIDED PROOF THAT THE TWO VERIONS ARE IDENTICAL. Reading FTW (or FTL, in your case).

How can you expect to exceed expectations?

@3 i, personally, dont want to support ubi, i think they did wii owners overs with there craptastic ports and dont care for there prince of persia games either, dont like the gameplay. this game is suppose to play like a prince of persia game with the jumping and the kicking and the running of roof's. im not trying to hate just to hate, sure seems like it, but even if this game get average reviews ill be to busy playing heavenly sword or gtaiv. sorry for the language on my first post by the way
