PlayStation 3 is getting more Team Ninja titles
There are few developers out there who are as outspoken about the power and potential of the PlayStation 3 as Yosuke Hayashi, the fellow behind Ninja Gaiden: Sigma. He has repeatedly defended the PS3 from developer criticism and has gone so far as to imply that developers who are having problems with the PS3 should just try harder. So it should come as no surprise that Ninja Gaiden: Sigma is not going to be Team Ninja's solitary PlayStation 3 title. In an interview with Eurogamer, Hayashi commented:"As I said, people who complain about the difficulty of creating games for PS3 should get out, right? While I'm saying that kind of thing, if I get out myself, then what I say doesn't mean anything! So, I should stay - right?"
While no further details were given (the whole interview has not been published yet), it's great to hear that Sony has such strong support from one of the top Japanese development teams. If NG:S is any indication of what to expect from them in the future, we have a lot to look forward to.

Someone clap. Dead or Alive may be coming to PS3! Now Tekken is going to be complemented with another well made fighting game!

Agreed, there's a fine line between "too hard" and "unfamiliar".

are you serious with yoself doa is the best fighter of all time
Matt B @ Jun 14th 2007 9:17PM
Team Ninja will always get my money on the PS3.
Joe @ Jun 14th 2007 9:35PM
Yeah EGM did say that DOA would be coming out on the PS3. I guess that would be true then. I my self would prefer Monster Rancher over that though. I also would prefer the olg NG games as a download able game. Now that is some thing I would buy.
But even if it ends up just being DOA at least the PS3 gets another game.

Dead or alive Code Chronos coming soon
Urza @ Jun 15th 2007 12:20AM
Now that's funny, they should try harder. Try harder means more time, more money. Developers don't want to spend the money when the system should have the tools to create great games on them.

I like how before Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Sony fans always said Team Ninja and their games (ninja gaiden and doa)were over rated, but now they are a talented group of developers.
Anyway, Heres to the PS3 getting some DOA4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 love.

It's really strange this newcomer is defending PS3 so much.. either Team Ninja is branching out to form a PS3 team lead by him or sony really paid them enough money for him to say those things all the time..
Popfrogs @ Jun 15th 2007 9:40AM
Team Ninja is probably happy to see what kind of incredible results they can get from the most powerful console on the market. Here's to hoping that they will sell at least a million copies of NG:S. I know I'll get it on launch day.
shase @ Jun 15th 2007 10:22AM
I am not sure about a million... the game itself is a few years old and those who really wanted to play it wouldve done so...Most of their buyers are going to be a fraction of gamers who either never had an xbox or sony fanboys who would never touch an xbox...
mat parker @ Jun 15th 2007 11:36AM
get ready for sixaxis DOAX!
