Breaking news: Crisis Core is still incredible

Every day that passes inches us closer to the inevitable release of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Like a hungry vulture, we've been searching for the tiniest new bit of info on the game ... and today, we're finally treated to new scans, courtesy of Jeux-France.

These new images don't tell us anything significantly new except that the game still looks awesome. The graphics engine of this game may make your system catch on fire.

Oh, Crisis Core, we want to buy you so hard.

it will make its way to Canada (NA) very soon, As for now, I will be pre-ordering my copy from Japan on Sept 12th. THis game is too good to wait. :)

Enix has the ability to make any console look great. Remember FFIV on DS? or FFXII on PS2? I have no doubt FFXIII will be a FANTASTIC looking game

Except Halo was an original IP that launched with a console, and innovated in various fields ranging from Console Multiplayer Gaming, to Sound Design, to First Person Control.

Crisis Core... is a sequel / prequel to a vastly overrated non-sequential sequel to a long running historically non-sequential game series. It's also coming out at least 2.5 years after the launch of the console... meh. At least it LOOKS nice.

How exactly was Halo innovative to FPSs, in terms of the controls, and sound design? As far as the multiplayer, one of it's criticisms was for it's lack of online functionality.

I don't believe FF7 is overrated, even though fanboys like to believe it's best FF(which I don't agree with), I certainly don't believe it was overrated. In fact, I think FF7 was revolutionary in some ways, if you look back at it's predecessors.

But you know what was overrated? Halo 2. Who knows, maybe Halo 3 will end being too.

Also, IMO I don't think this game looks "nice", I think it looks freakin amazing, considering it's a handheld game. Like damn, it looks better than some ps2 games.
