Giveaway: Fanboys fight for The Darkness

The Darkness is coming ...

Starbreeze's hotly anticipated FPS title is coming to the PS3 ... and Xbox 360. We have five copies of the game to give away, but we don't know which version we should hand out. Xbox 360? PS3? Well, you'll help us decide in the very first Xbox 360 Fanboy/PS3 Fanboy joint contest. We're pitting each community against each other. Fans on Xbox 360 Fanboy will explain why the 360 version of the game will be better. You will explain why the PS3 version of the game will be better. To enter:

Submit your idea to our comments section.

Two winners will be chosen from PS3 Fanboy. If the PS3 Fanboy sweepstakes receives more entries than the Xbox 360 Fanboy sweepstakes, a third winner will be chosen here at PS3 Fanboy. All winners will receive a prize package from 2K Games, which includes one copy of the game, and a very cool The Darkness comic. Entries will only be accepted until 6/26/07. in a little over a year.

and its been a week, and i still havent seen a return box.

and i would rather spend time playing the game, than praying to jesus and the mary chain that my 360 doesnt overheat and implode.

when you unlock the last darkling, it won't unlock an achievement for opening up the 3 rings of doom on your system, thus causing you to literally experience gaming's version of "the Darkness.

The PS3 version of the darkness will be better than the 360 version because...

it has all those extra movies and cartoons to watch on the in-game tvs!!!!(thanks to blu-ray)

plus PS3 owners will actually play the AMAZING single-player story instead of spending all their time memorizing multi-player map weapon and player spawn points

undeniable advantage: blueray technology. Watching a whole bunch of full
length movies (dracula ftw) in the ps3 version of The Darkness is
what kicks the 360 to the ground, spits in its red ring and ... turns

*The PS3 version of The Darkness is better than the 360 version because HDMI 1.3 Can represent many times more shades of gray between black and white. At 30-bit pixel depth, four times more shades of gray would be the minimum, and the typical improvement would be eight times or more.

(the 360 elite only has HDMI 1.2)

*The PS3 version of The Darkness is better than the 360 version because it's the only console where quoting Kaz's "Massive Damage" makes sense.

*The PS3 version of The Darkness is better than the 360 version because, 12 year olds with microphones are less likely.

The PS3 version of The Darkness is better than the 360 version because I actually spent the time to copy and paste instead of using ...

Seriously 360 fanboys and PS3 fanboys need to come together to start throwing dirt at the Wii. In a couple of months the Wii will be outselling both consoles COMBINED!

The PS3 version of The Darkness is better than the 360 version because when the dvd (not blu ray!!) disc is placed into the xbox 360 the darkness will overcome the owner and the machine; and the red ring of death will show.

Thus... alowing only the ps3 version to ever be playable making it much better!

The Darknes is better on the ps3 because it will be on a blu-ray disk, and therefore it will contain 40 min more cut scenes, which gives the player a deeper understanding of the story..

Now Ms will regret that dey only got a lousy dvd player in their 360...

The PS3 version of The Darkness is better than the 360 version because gamers like me, who haven't read the comic books will actually be able to read them and watch more channels in the Darkness. The PS3 is dark, and when the disc is inside the PS3, Jackie Estacado feels the darkness and gets much more powerful. The 360 version will taint Jackie Estacado and make him prance around like a fairy in the neverland ranch, with the light case and everything.
