Guncon 3 and Time Crisis 4: press that pedal down to see some screens

So, you've seen the images of the game, but you're still wondering if the Guncon 3 will keep the red and blue plastic look we've all been able to recognize in arcades worldwide. Short answer? No. Long answer? No, but it looks pretty awesome. We've stuck a small image of it in the big image above so you can get the gist of it. It's metallic, looks a little beat up and used, but mostly screams "shoot me at your screen, please." We're excited for this game since the last time we had fun with a light gun style game was House of the Dead II for the Dreamcast. Any Time Crisis memories you'd care to share?

Is it safe to assume that Japan will get a black gun while we here in the U.S. we get that bright orange version. Anyone know any solid details?

ummm.... light gun won't work on my HDTV... ?

They already addressed that issue on the announcement of the game and gun.
I got to say I am really looking forward to this too but I really hope we don't get an orange model. If so I will be spray painting it.

I LOVE the Time Crisis arcade games...may very well be my favorite all-time arcade series. Anyway, this is an absolute MUST OWN game for me. I can't wait to see it on the shelves here in the US.

no light gun game will ever surpass elemental gearbolt. I keep a PS1, guncon, and CRT around specifically to play that game.

I've bought every Time Crisis that has come out. I'm getting this one with out a doubt.

I dont think its a light gun as it has sensers that go on the TV or something. Been described to work like the Wiimote for the Wii. Its stated it will work on all TV's

@Justin
Doesn't the gun come with the game?
Jermaine Pulliam @ Jun 22nd 2007 3:29PM

Just think Wii, i.e sensor bar, but the WiiMote is a gun. That's how it's going to work, two sensors on either side of the tv.

Ahh very good point. I don't think it was announced yet (that or online), but if it is definitely going to do what you are doing. Import > Spray Painting. Hopefully they don't overcharge I can see that being very common thing to do when this game comes out.

I played this in the arcade (only TC game I haven't played all the way through in the arcade, so I'm looking forward to ps3 version,) and I don't remember needing any more buttons than I did for the first 3 games. I understand there are some more modes, but what on earth are all those buttons for? I don't want to have to hold the gun on that grip the entire time.

I've played this game at the arcade and god damn was it a fun game. Hope to get this on the PS3 soon.
