Sony reveal E3 plans for the PSN
We entertained the possibility earlier this week, but today we have confirmation that Sony will be offering up a smattering of downloadable content from E3 next week. PS3 owners will be able to download the entire Sony keynote speech to their consoles. Also available will be trailers of games that are shown at the show. No word on any demos yet, but hopefully Sony are keeping details about those back as a surprise. You never know.
We also hope that the EU PSN won't be neglected. At the moment the E3 banner is only up on the US PlayStation Store, so it's looking likely that anyone in Europe that wants to keep track of Sony's potential E3 massacre will have to get themselves a US account.

seriously... who gives a damn about the keynote speaker... So far, SONY has been all talk and NO action... Lets get some demos out and lets quit talking about a year from now... lets quit talking about whats happing 6 months now, and dammit, lets just produce! Put out GOOD QUALITY content, and the sales will follow...

Yeah, because the non-PS3 owners will be able to play the demos, how?
humpty @ Jul 6th 2007 7:56PM
Yea, the videos and such are better distributed online where anyone can watch them. Unless its a very well done video.. like an MGS4 trailer. Something like a keynote, doesnt need to be hogging bandwidth on PSN.
I never download those game trailers on PSN, cause ive usually seen them already online. Give us demos.

Hey, I'm just glad they are putting out E3 content, I think it's cool and who knows what else they will put out besides videos, but at least they'll be in HD and look nicer on my HDTV than on my computer monitor.

I'm betting this is why they gave us High Profile AVC decoding two weeks ago with that firmware update. They'll save a lot of bandwidth this way...

Hey, does anyone know how to change the location of your PSN account? I have a HK PS3, so now I can only access the HK PSN. I'm Australian, so I'd like to be able to change it over to the Aussie PSN. Anyone know how? Cheers.

Like #8, Does anyone know how to make a different US PSN account as I only have a UK one right now.
Andy @ Jul 7th 2007 12:22PM
To make a new account you have to go to the extreme left of the XMB to the Users tab. Go down until you find create new user. Name it US Account and go the extreme right to the signup for PSN.
*Hint* Now that you have two users when you startup your PS3 you have to choose which user you want to use. To go automatically into your UK account(or US account) press triangle on it and then select auto-login.*Hint*
Simple terms: Create a new user and then its self explanatory.
Hope this helps
