PlayStation Fancast 006: Pre-E3 edition
Just in time for E3, our sixth episode of the award winning (disclaimer: awards may be imaginary) podcast is out to shock, scare and maim you. Sorry, we mean entertain you. We've not split this episode up because we found ourselves discussing both the PS3 and PSP in the same breath, in some instances. If this proves to be a big hit, we might keep this format. Episode 6 features Jem Alexander, Nick Doerr and Steve Bailey. We discuss the PS3's newest releases, our E3 thoughts and expectations and Japanese hardware sales. Among other things. Check below for the complete program.

I really happy to hear the fancast back, but you guys seem not to be real PS Fans! You guys need to be more enthusisastic about your podcast. Your last 2 podcasts sound like you guys are on the mic just because its your job. Love you guys, but you sound like some girl broke your hearts. Cheer up on the podcast!

You know...my thoughts on Darkness. Whats up with the contest winners of Darkness? Were there any winners named? Anyone know? Cuz I've been waiting to hear the results.

This was not a good podcast, way too boring, if you're going to be this out of it, just skip the week and come back strong. I didn't even finish it this week, and normally it's one of my favorite podcasts. I would like to see you guys recover next week.

Ok just some suggestions, firstly before you start to record write down an outline of what you are going to talk about so that you don't have to talk about the same games several times (ex: stardust, NG: Sigma, and Darkness being spoken about twice in the same order no less), during WRUP just say what you are playing and save any indepth review/commentary for the review section. Make sure you guys decide on who is moderating the podcast when Andrew is not there and moderate accordingly, don't let people go too far off topic and tell people to hold off on info until you get to a certain topic where you can discuss things at length. STAY AWAY FROM SEGWAYS! Not everything has to be a segway because it doesn't always work and it's not clever when you try to make stuff fit into a segway. And please please please try not to have huge gaps of silence, that's why the moderator is there to keep the conversation moving and flowing instead of coming to a dead stop. That really makes for terrible radio/podcasting and it was really hard to get through it in this podcast.
I know you guys are still new to podcasting so just keep working at it, despite the fumbles in this episode I always to look forward to new episodes from you guys so keep at it.

THE ANGELUS!!!!!
The Darkness comics rock! - they also start off just with the Mafia with a little taste of his true powers. If they are doing a sequel, they should not have given him so much power to start off with, at least until the very end when you can get a tiny little taste of it, when you're introduced to the Angelus and the true story of "the Darkness".
sweet sweet comics.
