Hands-on: High Stakes on the Vegas Strip

In addition to the now-requisite 1080p graphics, High Stakes has a few unique features. There's a fast-forward mode, which allows you to cut past any unnecessary action of AI opponents. The "Turbo Fold" function lets you fold without having to wait for computer AI to play their cards. Most excitingly, we saw the EyeToy in action, which allowed you to capture your image while playing the game. Video appears on the screen, showing your opponents' faces as they play their hand. It was surprisingly easy to set up, and will work with most USB video cameras, not just the EyeToy.
High Stakes isn't the most exciting game to come out on the PSN. However, it shows Sony's continued dedication to providing a variety of gameplay options for an affordable price.

They should have a Casino in Home for stuff like this.. social gaming in a virtuo casino.

If they want to get the family dollar leaving a casino out would be a good idea.
The poker craze is just about to fizzle so Sony would be wise to release this soon.
Was there any EyeToy news at E3?
Has anyone else noticed the %220 increase in comments on PS3fanboy.com?

i figured it out... -60gb price dropped to $500 -"Phase Out" 60gb so only one console is being sold -Release 80gb bundled with MotorStorm and a controller for $600 (Original Price) -When 60gb is gone, release 80gb (no MotorStorm/Controller) $500 you world eventually spend $600 if you buy a game and controller The reason they do not announce this?-so people will not wait for the 80gb PS3, but buy all the 60gb PS3's for Christmas-Be forced to decide between the 2 versions during the holidays, any way the consumer gets the best deal. Any way you look at it you spend $600!

Yes because this game needs 1080p so that I know I can play HD cards.

They should make a gambling game RPG style where you start playing and/or hustling in your little hometown and make it to Vegas. Earning/losing skill and luck points, learning tips from people you beat or from someone who borrowed cash from you... The possibilities are endless when you think about it for a minute. I'm saying this because the current poker games are pretty much useless imo, I'd rather play freerolls on my PC... But a GRPG would be awesome, if done properly...

Problem with a ‘Gamble RPG’ is that you would probably never be able to win unless you’re either extremely lucky or they rig the games.
