Phew. This is a long one. Clocking in at just under two and a half hours, this podcast features our comprehensive discussions of all things Sony at E3. We go through the press conference point-by-point, get angry at Sony's weird pricing behaviour and talk about the games that Andrew got some hands on time with at the show itself.

Episode 7 features Jem Alexander, Andrew Yoon, Nick Doerr, Steve Bailey and Colin Torretta. We discuss the PSP redesign, Sony's press conference announcements, pricing structures and upcoming games. Check after the cut for the complete program.

but ya I don't see how the KH song can be any better in Japanese I mean she hits like all the same notes and everything. (and I have heard it). I agree on the FF X-2 though, but that's cause they used different singers. but if its the same person I don't think it should matter.

Andrew, You are acting like Sony killed you dog! Geeesh! They are doing what's best for the future of the PS3.

One factor we don't know how much production cost they dropped since November 2006. That's important.

I enjoyed episode 5 on itunes, where's the new one? I'm lazy I guess but I have to say keep up the good work. Interestingly, users should try and listen to the episode 5 and 6 back to back [kills gaming time]. A lot of the predictions in 5 were either met of squashed all together so it makes good convo.

Comments on your podcast. 11.6 million xbox360s dead??? Ummm Lets not stretch that, not all 360s are dead. Mine sits next to its hd-dvd drive right above my wii and my new ps3. It runs fine.

As to the ps3 price rollercoaster, it shouldnt be forgiven but it works. I got one at 499.99 with 5 blue rays (that i could care less for) and bond, pirates 1&2. I plan to get Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Thats my first title, second will be either lair or heavenly sword (perhaps both). Point being games are coming and the magic 499.99 price point drives it. Ill pay $500 for blue-ray (the 3 movies i got) and Metal Gear Solid 4.

I'm not sure the point of listening to this podcast anymore. I love the blog, but the only game Andrew liked was everyday shooter, and he brings the other guys down. IGN's new "podcast beyond" absolutely rules this.

Thank goodness Jem has taken over the "hosting" of this podcast, I don't think Andrew needs anything else to talk about or add to his ego. How many times did he ask "what did you think of my review?"

Andrew - please shut up unless you have a rational thought. Allow the others to make comments, don't talk over them and don't tell Sony what they should and shouldn't do. Last time I checked Sony = Billion dollar, international company. Andrew = Lispy, whiny, know it all. You're the reason fanboy's get a bad name. There is nothing worse than a whiny know it all.

So it looks like andrew y. is really not a ps3 fanboy .. he seems to be more of a wii fanboy in pimps clothing .. either that or he should start a blog called depressedgamerfanboy.com .. he is obviously not built for this job as this podcast was 2 hours of him bitching and moaning about having one of the most exclusive opportunities in gaming .. how is it that all he really liked PS wise was Everyday Shooter ( i know im probably exaggerating but it sure seemed like it ) ... next time around please dont send this baby to important events if he can't hack it. send Nick or Collin. Not Jem though .. that would be truly outrageous (god please forgive me for that).

I just finally started listening to this podcast and I'm in total agreement with everyone here, Andrew is totally off-base.

I'm only 15 minutes into it but he's been complaining non-stop about Sony tricking its customers because the price drop is not a real price drop. How is it not real? Something that cost $600 is now $500.

His whole argument resides around customers not knowing if the 80gb version will go down in price, but you could say the same about any single product that is for sale. Is Nintendo tricking customers because the Wii could eventually go down from $250 to $200 but they aren't telling us exactly when? How about Microsoft? They could and eventually will lower the price of the 360, so am I being suckered by them if I buy it now?

I'm in complete agreement with what most of the people have posted. Andrew, you should really reevaluate being on this podcast. You belong on a Nintendo podcast with the rest of Joystiq.

FUDing up the Sony price drop is such a Nintendo Fanboy thing to do.
