Could Craftworld (LittleBigPlanet prototype) be in development?
LittleBigPlanet had some pretty humble beginnings. Media Molecule started with a 2D demo, then called Craftworld. Sony loved the approach they were taking with the game, and signed Media Molecule to develop what is now (our game of E3) LittleBigPlanet.
When speaking with Mark Healey, Newsweek's N'Gai Croal asked whether or not there were plans to ever continue working on Craftworld, either as a new PSN or PSP title. He stumbles a bit, almost revealing something: "There's--we're not allowed to talk about that, are we?" Unfortunately, the PlayStation publicist silenced him before he could go on further.
There's something happening with LittleBigPlanet. We just don't know what, yet. We'd be a little bit more demanding to find out more ... but we're too busy waiting for LittleBigPlanet to be finished.

Quoted: **Healey: That's one of the things where the Cell processor has really come into its own, actually, because we can just have one of the SPUs completely handle cloth. So you can fill a whole world full of curtains and cloth if you'd like, and it isn't going to make a difference to the speed. It's really nice.**
Ahhh - something positive from a developer about the PS3 for a change... nice. =)

Check out what the team behind dirt has to say about the power of the PS3 compared to the 360. XD
Something the Xbots love to ignore as they point out that crap ports look worse and are buggy on the PS3.
Love when devs actually take their time to make the PS3 version better.

I bet it will be unlockable on Little Big Planet...or a way to integrate the PSP with the PS3 version of Little Big Planet...

What did the DIRT team say?

@#5, this is what they said about dirt...
In a recent E3 interview with CodeMasters designer, Matthew Horseman, we learn that the PS3 version of DiRT: Colin McRae Off-Road will be the best of the three available versions. During the interview, Horseman goes into detail as to why this is the case.
He said CodeMasters was able to best optimize the game for the PS3, primarily due to the fact that the engine in the game uses Sony's PSSG rendering platform "at its core." In this way, they learned how to access all the little "nooks and crannies" in the machine, and the result is apparently clear.
"The PS3 version looks fantastic compared to the 360 version; it's a slimmer, healthier, younger, buffer version, and the framerate is better," said Horseman.
The game also takes advantage of the PlayStation Logitech wheels - including ones for the PS2 - and boasts 7.1 stereo surround sound. You can expect to see DiRT: Colin McRae Off-Road this September, and we'll also be getting a playable demo before that date. So don't miss your chance to check out what could be the best off-road racing title of the generation! Motorstorm, you got competition.

I think that first "LittleBigPlanet" was supposed to be "Craftworld"... if I'm not mistaken..

@#6 Cool, thanks for that

@incrediblebulk92: Yeah, because the makers of Dirt want to sell you Playstations instead of marketing it toward the supposed 10 million 360s on the market....

Craftworld will be one of those games being launched through Home as a "mini-game" kind of experience, probably find it in an "arcade-room" sort of like on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, know?
I'd expect a loco-roco kind of game along with that in there.
