Metal Gear mobile phone game announced at Anniversary party
At the Metal Gear Solid 20th Anniversary party in Tokyo today, Hideo Kojima revealed a new Metal Gear branded mobile phone. The phone will be released with a 3D Metal Gear cell phone game pre-installed on it, though there has been no word on price or a release date. No doubt the game will be downloadable for all cell phones that support it as well. The 1Up liveblogger has said that game "looks between MG1 and 2 in quality." We are assuming he's referring to Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, as Metal Gear 1 and 2 were 2D.Until Japan decides to let us into the Cool Mobile Phone Content club, we probably won't be seeing this game released in either America or Europe. Let's get that petition for a PSP version started, shall we?

Jem, in a word... no.
I will not take part in such a silly and useless action. Rarely do companies buckle to fan pressure by online or offline petitions, thus useless. This is silly because the PSP has the two AC!ds games; two Digital graphic novels; portable ops and its expansion, Portable ops+; Portable ops will also get a sequel to it.
Let's not sink to levels of DMC PS3-fanboys.

You know what I'd like? A stealth-action genre adaptation of AC!D. I mean, don't get me wrong, AC!D rocked on its own, but I would've liked to experience that alternate plot in the traditional MGS genre.
