PlayStation at Comic-Con: the schedule

Sony Computer Entertainment of America is going to be bringing tons of activities and goodies to the upcoming Comic-Con in San Diego. Over the course of four days beginning July 26th, Comic-Con attendees will be able to try out a variety of upcoming PSP and PS3 games, including SOCOM: Tactical Strike and The Eye of Judgment, which utilizes the PlayStation Eye accessory.

Thursday

· Booth, all day – Kari Wahlgren, the voice of Jeanne d'arc will be at the booth signing autographs; PaRappa the Rapper will be hanging out for pics.

Friday

· Booth, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. – Put yourself on the cover of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Tactical Strike, with pose suggestions and real weapons provided by real-life U.S. Navy SEALs; PaRappa the Rapper will also be hanging out for photo opportunities.

Saturday

· Booth, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. – Well known graphic novelist and co-writer for Syphon Filter®: Logan 's Shadow, Greg Rucka, and Creative Director of Sony Computer Entertainment's Bend Studio, John Garvin, will be stopping by the SCEA booth to sign Limited Edition Comic Book Covers and meet fans.

Sunday

· Booth, all day – PaRappa the Rapper will be hanging out for photo opportunities

· Panel Room #3, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. – Tech and Trading Cards: THE EYE OF JUDGEMENT™ for PlayStation 3 Panel. Come see what the future holds for trading card game fans everywhere. oh my god, they're having someone from gamespot to moderate the eye of judgement? WTF??? of all ppl, someone from the 'game reviewer' website that favours the 360 (which they should be neutral instead). oh well... btw, i think i may be wrong in this, and i hope i am, gamespot is owned by cnet which is also affliated with.... ms no? please say no, because a yes would answer a lot to their unfair attitude. and by unfair, is when they say the ps3 version of a game is the SAME as the 360 but they gave the ps3 version lower rating, wth is with that?

Giveaways. Giveaway some demo discs, bluray discs or something. UMDS (for psp owners)...

Amazingly, MS and Nintendo have little presence at the con this year, unlike last year. (though assorted booths exist that are playing 360/wii/DS games as well as ps3/psp/ps2 ones)
