Activision confirms Tony Hawk demo around Thanksgiving

This is all well and good, but we can't forget that it is another Tony Hawk game. A lot of people have been saying that his titles have grown more and more stale throughout the years, so putting a demo up is risky. On the other hand, perhaps there is a lot of promise in the title and placing a demo up proves it. We'll see if Proving Ground really lives up to its name, or proves that it sucks, in November.

I have played every TH game from TH 1 to TH Downhill JAm. In every iteration of the game something new was added ( reverts, manuals, slo-mo, other vehicles). I didn't pick up Project 8 since it was kind of the same gameplay over again and was waiting for Skate which brings a pretty impressive gameplay. We'll have to see if it really lives up to being a new Tony Hawk game.....
First.... Boooooooyaaaaaaaaa

Dont buy skate dude. You will be feeding the EA beast. They will get your money and send it off to Microsoft. ;D

Jeje... I know... but the controls are really innovative. Since it's been a while since I played a skateboard game, I will have to give my money to the devil until....

Another Tony Hawk game? As if Project 8 wasn't bad enough. The PS3 release was garbage with a terrible framerate and no online.
Proving whether or not it sucks, indeed. They have alot to live up to, given the legacy of THPS games.

I hope they both have demos so I can compare them side by side. Otherwise if the Tony demo is good...thats the one I'm going with.

For a second I though this demo would be coming in October (Canadian thanksgiving) but then I realized its coming much later in November for American Thanksgiving.
I sure hope there are lots of demos because there are a lot of games coming out this fall.

Poor Andy - confoozled by the derned Americans again!... Next time just tell them to "Take off, eh?" ;D
I'll be buying Skate also - giving the green to the EA Beast or the Activision Beast, I'd rather try a new IP, regardless... unless, of course, someone else makes a skating game - like a Virtua Skater - what other choice does one have? ='(
