Rock Band bundle packaging spotted on Gamestop and Amazon
On of our eagle-eyed readers has noticed that the Gamestop and Amazon Rock Band cover art has been replaced. Now, instead of a bland DVD box (we hope that uninspired art is a placeholder), we can see the box that the bundle will come in. Only the PS3 version has been changed, the 360 version has remained the same. There's not a whole lot more to say about it, except: how exciting! There's nothing like buying a game and getting a huge box full of stuff. Right? Though we're curious. How are they going to fit a guitar and drum kit into that box? Unless it's some Ikea style flat-pack deal. Flat-pack video games. Whatever next?
[Thanks Jared!]

Did I actually type Gamestop twice, or was there some sort of steal-edit that I missed?
As far as the shape of the box goes, I don't doubt that you can disassemble the drum set, so I'm expecting a box of similar shape to the Guitar Hero bundles, only a bit thicker to accommodate the drums and mic.

Holy crap...its $200!
I think I will have to settle for Guitar Hero 3.

Andy: You realize you don't HAVE to buy the box set with drums and microphone, right? I'll be getting GH3 and Rock Band, but I'll probably just get the Rock Band with one guitar.

@7..you'd think for all the spamming you do, that site you keep shoving down everyone's throats would at very least, have a picture of a current PS3, not the Batterang silver one. get lost.
