ThreeSpeech reveals Warhawk UK pricing
Despite finally getting some of Sony's European release dates recently, we were still kept in the dark regarding a price and release date for the download version of Warhawk. ThreeSpeech has today revealed both of these things. Apparently the PSN version of Warhawk is being worked on very hard in order to be released simultaneously in all regions. From the sounds of it, however, we wouldn't be surprised if it eventually came out a week or two later.
As for the price, Warhawk will be downloadable for £20. That's almost an exact translation from Dollars to Sterling. Has that ever happened before? The retail version will be £40, which is still a pretty good deal considering what's in the box. There's no word yet on the exact price in Euros. If the developers really do manage to get the game up on the PSN before the end of the month for all regions, then will you submit to impatience and download or wait a couple of weeks for the retail version? Tough call.

I wonder what the Canadian price will be. PSN has been ok in not pegging the CDN:USD rate at some archaic ratio. If its $50 CDN for the PSN i would be upset.

With not much coming out, it will either be this or Heathenly Sword.

At least it's something...thank f"!k for that...Sony have been shafting us for so long, I was expecting a knock at my door, and for me to open it and get smacked in the face by Phil Harrison...just for hoping!
Maybe it's the whole Stockholm syndrome thing that Sony are using....lock you in a room with no light, no food, no stimulation, then without warning, blast you with light! You'd be happy if they gave you a mint, you think it was God's own tears!

£20? Gaming has never been this cheap!
I can barely believe it.

I'm sitting on my hands waiting for the mid-September UK release to get the game on Blu-Ray with the bluetooth headset. At £32.99 from play.com for the packaged version it effectively means that the headset knocks me back roughly £13.99 over the download version of the game, which is an amazing price for a bluetooth headset!

If I was getting it, which I am not.....I would be buying the boxed copy. It has resale value where the download will be linked to your PSN ID I would guess.

hello,
warhawk for download ??? i don't think it's a good idea
when there is a blueray disc in retail version, downloading couple Giga bytes from internet is not an easy job for most people ..
and when several thousands of PS3 gamers (or so :-) start download after the game release on PSN store, this can be a problem for any internet infrastructure
