Hacked Silent Hill demo smuggled, released to public

The Games Convention in Leipzig is only a few days away, and it appears that Konami's upcoming Silent Hill UMD demo from the show somehow got leaked for public consumption. Unlike regular demos, this must be ripped into a disc image and run off of a homebrew-enabled PSP. We're not sure if Konami is too appreciative of having early code released to the public, and we're going to refrain from linking to places where it's available for download. However, video proof (seen above) shows that this is, in fact, real.

you mean this is gonna be a UMD demo and not a downloadable one....? that SUCKS!!! By the way i checked the size of the demo: over 600mbs!!! Nice.........

The demo runs really smooth and beautiful and has several movie files which can be viewed with a PMF player on the PSP or PC... or so I've heard. ;-)

Betcha the'll release it a UMD Demo. If you live in the US check your local Gamestop/Eb Games store for discs. I got Jeanne D'arc And Syphon Filter Logans shadow just for asking.

how long is the demo?
and I would loooove a Jeanne demo right about now, the game got a 9 from IGN and was said to be the best of its genre on PSP

The demo took me about an hour the first time searching through all the hospital rooms, looking for items. The second time took me about 15 minutes where I made sure I checked everything.
