New PlayStation Eye title spotted: Trials of Topoq

The game requires you to move the ball around the different layers of each castle, breaking open cages as you go. Each level has a different task, including getting to the end within a time limit and breaking a certain amount of cages before reaching the finish line. Crossbows can be found around the levels which, when the ball is rolled into it, will shoot you to a hidden area of the level.
The ball is not moved via the analogue stick, nor the SIXAXIS. Instead, the floor of the castle shows an image of what the PlayStation Eye can see. By moving your arms (or any other part of you, really) you affect the height of the floor temporarily. The idea is to create slopes to guide the ball around and collect the items (or "smash the cages" as the game calls it) whilst making yourself look like a prat in the process.
We snapped a few photos of the game in action, check out the gallery below to see all three. There's no word on whether the game will come bundled with the PlayStation Eye, sold separately or be downloadable. No doubt we'll hear more at Leipzig.

Once again, it's easy to see which platform has the most inventive and innovative games. The PSEye makes things like this possible.

Wow, I love games like this, and I've always got a bit of a soft spot for eyetoy games... definitely going to keep a close eye on this one. Granted, I'd be happy with Super Monkey Ball that uses the sixaxis (yes, I know there's a Wii version, it's the only Wii game I want). I'd be even happier if I could run Neverball in linux (maybe by next year).
Kinda reminds me of Echochrome in a way...

I like it!! I hope Sony will continue to come up with cool games like this!! I wonder how it'll look when it's all said and done?

*sigh*
For whatever reason, my mind chose to read 'New PlayStation Eye Title' as 'New Parasite Eve Title.'
That's too big a disappointment for a Monday.

does anybody know if the old Eye Toy from Ps2 works with the PS3?? If it does, than what is the difference with this new Playstation Eye, is it HD, wireless???

@never$$hort: The old eye toy works with the ps3, I have it hooked up now, though I don't use it. You can test it in the xmb though and it works. In fact, the ps3 is supposed to work with a lot of different generic webcams, but I don't know which ones.
The new PS Eye isn't HD, it's the same resolution as the old one, but with double the framerate at least, 60 fps at 640x480, and 120 fps at 320x240! It's also supposed to be much more sensitive in low-light situations (so you can actually use the damn thing without stadium floodlights), and it's got a fancy directional microphone array.
