New Area 51 trailer looking damn good -- and just a bit freaky
Straight from the Leipzig Game Convention comes a new Blacksite: Area 51 trailer, which highlights some impressive graphics and freaky looking alien weirdness. While not as hot looking as Killzone 2 or Call of Duty 4 (few games are), the trailer shows off some impressive Unreal Engine-powered set pieces and some really nice lighting. Watching the town get ripped to shreds by 80 foot tall aliens is damn cool, and it looks like the gameplay holds its own as well.

Looking pretty cool. However, Half Life called, it wants its monsters back. ;)

I love how all these stupid company's trailers have graphics tearing in the middle of them....
Way to go retards!

Gamesradar had this game in it's Top 7 games you will never buy. They say that it is a good game but they are releasing it at possibly the worst time ever. It's released 2 months after bioshock, 1 month after halo, and the same week as Call of Duty 4.

#5: The timing you mention is from an X360 owner's point of view, which we don't really care about.
Now, from a PS3 owner's point of view..they're releasing it near Lair, Heavenly Sword, COD4, Haze, etc. They just might have a problem because it's a smaller game with very little publicity.

The ending of that trailer was impressive, and the gameplay looks fantastic, but the cutscenes look soooooooooooooooo boring. They have almost no style. And there was some tearing in the middle of the trailer.
Well those are my only complaints. Besides that, I'm good :)

Yeah, it does LOOK good, but the gameplay looks pretty generic. Shooting aliens -- how many times have we done this? Now, I have heard that the story is going to contain some political plotlines, but we'll have to wait until the game comes out to find out for sure.
After playing "Bioshock", this just looks like the same thing we've been playing for years, just prettier.

kind of disappointing - the soundtrack is just plain terrible, sounds like someone was using a Casio keyboard pre-set sounds. Gameplay itself looks quite conventional....
