American PSN updates for August 23rd

Europe isn't the only territory getting the Folklore demo this week. We're getting in on Game Republic's interesting action/adventure title as well. We're also getting a ton of movie and videogame trailers, with the highlight being the Metal Gear Solid 4 bosses trailer -- so damn cool. Check out this week's updates to the PS Store:

Folklore "Sneak Preview" demo (free)
Heavenly Sword "Making of" No. 3 (free)
Heavenly Sword Anime No. 3 (free)
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots "Beast Corp" trailer (free)
Haze trailer (free)
TimeShift trailer (free)
Movie trailers: Things we Lost in the Fire, Vantage Point, National Treasure: Book of Secrets ($5 a piece)

Alright, just kidding about the movie trailers costing $5 dollars -- they're free too. This is one big batch of free goodies from Sony to us. It's great seeing Sony releasing weekly demos and unlike some weeks, this batch of videogame trailers is pretty solid. Time to start queuing up some downloads!

hmmmm....fun stuff. The videos will be cool, but I Was hoping for a different demo~ played the Japanese demo already, was pretty fun ^^v

This is a good bunch of freebies. Sony needs to keep it up, and then step it up. Cus the other system is going for the win...

All day at work, I kept checkin the 'boy to see this update list. Because then I would know if I should go home and plug in my ps3 straight-away-- my system is either online with the computer, or online with ps3 (apparently I'm router-deprived).

NOW, we finally get it. Sheesh. Can't you people see that I have needs?

What about MY needs? I needed to see this update before 2pm today!

I'm just kidding.

I started thinking about how 'clingy' I can get, about this site. It's like weird food, you know? I was thinking... will ps3fanboy feel the same when ps3 has tons of games?

But of course new games are always coming and in 2.5 years we'll start to see the very beginnings of a new console war, so yeah, consider yourself a nipple.

where's the skate demo? c'mon sony we know you have it, what the hell are you waiting for??? with the massive august game drought, you would think they'd want to keep us entertained somehow. and besides 360 users got it earlier in the week. so friggen lame.

Just played Folklore. I know one game I wont be picking up for the PS3. Im sure people like it but it really is just not my type of coffee and game. So for me, this is a lame PSN Update. I hope next week, we get EA's 'skate' I played it at my friend's 360 and the game is awesome.
